Apricot Glaze

This Apricot glaze just happens to be my all time favorite glaze for pork or chicken. It’s comprised of simple ingredients but they are pure perfection! Mix this up and give a jar of it along with the recipe for the amazing Apricot Glazed Pork Roast. I made the roast again on Friday and when I was talking to my mom yesterday she had the same recipe cooking! Great minds think alike. I have made this pork roast so many times and it’s the perfect company dish – they will rave about how delicious it is! (The leftover pork makes the best Pork Caramelized Onion & Gruyere Sandwich. You better give them this recipe too!) The glaze is equally as delicious on pork chops or chicken breast. Gosh, I am making myself hungry!

Apricot Glaze

  • 1/2 cup apricot preserves or jam
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Mix together well, store in a jar in the refrigerator until ready to use. Perfect on Apricot Pork Roast, pork chops or chicken breast.
