BBQ Tempeh

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces of tempeh cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 3 –4 tablespoons of your favorite BBQ sauce look for oil-free and low-sugar if you prefer a whole food plant-based version

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, toss the tempeh cubes with BBQ sauce until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the tempeh out on the baking sheet, making sure there’s space between each cube so they brown nicely.
  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden and slightly crispy on the edges.
  5. Let cool slightly and enjoy warm, room temp, or even chilled!
