Watermelon Slushie

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups cubed watermelon
  • 1 lime- zest and juice - or to taste
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • 1 cup crushed ice or ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint
  • 2 dates - optional if you need additional sweetness

Equipment

  • Blender

Method
 

  1. Put everything in the blender and process until slushie.

Substitutions
Lemon instead of lime
Half watermelon - half strawberries
Lime flavored sparkling water instead of fresh lime juice
Dates to add sweetness
Fresh basil instead of mint
Add a little cucumber
