I have been eating a whole food plant based diet for four years and I still agonize over what to make for company. I don’t know why – but it is what it is! I love Chef AJ’s recipes because they are tried and true recipes. What you may not know is that she puts her plant based recipes to the test by feeding them to people who are not plant based eaters! If the recipes are well received by omnivores she knows that everyone will love them. Because Chef AJ loves to share the joy of eating a healthy whole food plant based diet she is generously sharing this party food webinar for free! How cool is that?
The free cooking webinar will air on Sunday April 30th, 2017 at 6:00 pm Pacific Time. Chef AJ and Gustavo Tolosa will be demonstrating how to make Mexican Lasagna, Smoked Artichokes, Cheese and Crackers and an impressive Four Layer Frozen Cake made from fruit. Chef AJ has a bonus recipe where she will show you how to make hibiscus tea. I can hardly wait for Sunday!
You Must Register For The Cooking Webinar Here.
Once you register you will receive an email with the list of ingredients for making these recipes and a link for logging into the webinar when it airs. You can shop ahead and cook along with Chef AJ and Gustavo if you wish. You will need to take notes during the webinar for the directions on how to make the recipes. No written recipes will be provided. This is the first of three cooking webinars that Chef AJ has been working on. The next two will require a small fee to watch them but the good news is, I will be having a give-a-way for a lucky winner so stay tuned for all the details.
Happy Healthy Cooking!

A Little Nutmeg Nugget:
When I started this blog in January of 2010 I followed what I understood to be a healthy version of the standard American diet, ironically also known as the “SAD” diet. As interest in my own health and how it was affected by the food I ate evolved, I transitioned to a whole food plant based diet also known as “WFPB” diet. I have wrestled with the fact that this blog still contains all those posts and recipes from the SAD way of eating I have left behind. I no longer advocate for anyone to eat that way. At this time I am leaving those recipes and posts here. It is a record of my journey and how I came to follow a WFPB way of eating. It is my hope that those who still come here for those old recipes will be curious about what I am doing now. Perhaps they will dip their toes across the line as I did and try some plant based recipes and learn more about the health benefits.

Can you tell me how to make hibiscus tea?
Tami
I have never made it from the actual flower I always buy it in tea bags.
