Light and refreshing is how I would describe this salsa. It is on the sweeter side of things with delicious fresh mango which is a nice contrast to the jalapeno pepper and red onion. Just 5 ingredients all together and it only takes about 15 minutes to make. It has a variety of flavors going on in every bite! You are going to love it!
It is fabulous with some Guilt Free Air Fried Chips! It is such a pretty salsa too. You know how I like pretty food!
I like to add it to my Mexican Chopped Salad with Crispy Tortilla Strips.
It will last a few days in the fridge but if you make it for a crowd make a double batch because it goes fast. No mango – use pineapple instead.
Fresh salsa is awesome added to a wrap or served over a salad or as a topping for grilled tofu. You might also like my fresh Chimol salsa that is a Latin America favorite.
You control how much heat it has by how much fresh jalapeno or jalapeno powder you use. I love the Jalapeno Powder from Local Spicery. Be sure to use the drop down menu on the link provided and select the Jalapeno powder option. Put Nutmeg Notebook in the message box at check out and get 2 free sample size spices with your order!
We made a short little video to show just how easy this is to make.
Pair some Mango Lime Salsa with my Cumin Black Beans (that are also used in my Ponacho recipe) add some rice for an easy delicious Burrito Bowl.

Hi Tammy,
Sadly The Spicery doesn’t seem to offer Chili Pepper Jalapeño any longer.

Hi Diane,
They do still have it but you have to click on the drop down menu and select the powder version. Here is the link. https://www.localspicery.com/product/jalapeno/
