Since our vegan chocolate fudgesicle recipe is so popular I decided to try it in the Ninja CREAMi and it is a big hit! Love that creamy chocolate fudge flavor and the smooth, creamy texture the Ninja CREAMi creates is amazing. Feel free to try all the different variations like mocha, chocolate mint, chocolate peanut butter, chocolate chocolate chip. When you make your own vegan ice cream you control what goes in it and how sweet it is. Wow – we feel like we have our own vegan ice cream parlor right here at home. Life this summer is pretty darn good!
Jump to RecipeYou can enjoy it as is or you can top it with some shredded coconut, cacao nibs, chocolate chips, raspberries, strawberries, diced banana, California Balsamic Chocolate Orange Balsamic, low fat granola, or one of my favorites is a sprinkle of organic buckwheat groats. It adds crunch and a nutty flavor that I love.
This recipe is going to make 2 pints, plus you will have a little leftover that you can make into fudgesicles. Or you can do what I did, after filling 2 CREAMi pints, I added a tablespoon of chia seeds to the leftover mixture in the blender and gave it a whirl to break the chia seeds down. Pour into serving dishes – you have a scrumptious fudge pudding. It will set up in the fridge so chill it for a couple hours. So good and you can eat the fudgy chia pudding while you are waiting for the the rest of it to freeze for ice cream.

Cindy Rose
Hi, Tami and Tom. We have been plant based for 3 years now. We met you on the weight loss summit last year. We were inspired to buy the ninja creami from your post. We are in Canada so couldn’t take advantage of your discount but they were having a sale. So, bonus! We expect it to arrive tomorrow. We will try your peanut butter recipe first. Can’t wait. P.S. we own an ice cream parlor. So, am a bit left out since we seldom have any. Now we can have ice cream that we can enjoy without guilt.
Tami Kramer
Hi Cindy – I hope you enjoy the CREAMi as much as Tom and I do! That is pretty neat that you have an ice cream parlor!
Rich Swanner
Tami did they offer beans and rice on the trip to Alaska? They seem to have everything else but I didn’t see those?
Tami Kramer
Hi Rich,
They did have some beans and rice but not every day. There was so much variety though, we always had plenty to eat and were very satisfied.

Diane Palmer
Tami, we met on the Alaskan cruise. It was such a great time with delicious food. I wanted to tell you that I made your vegan banana peanut butter chocolate chip nice in the Ninja Creami-delicious! Hard to believe it is just bananas, PB2 powder, and cacao nibs. Amazing! Thanks for sharing that recipe.
Diane
Tami Kramer
Hi Diane,
I am so glad you liked it! It is a simple recipe but big on flavor.
Denette
Chocolaty, creamy. Not as icy as other recipes I have tried. This makes a lot. I filled two containers, then added some peanut butter to the blender, blended it in and used that to fill a third container. Haven’t tried the PB chocolate version yet. Thanks for the recipe
Denette
Forgot to give it stars and don’t know how to edit it.
Michele
Michele from Ontario, Canada. Just tried this and have to say it’s so creamy. This is the best vegan ice cream I’ve made in the Ninja Creami and will be my base going forward. It made 2 pints and enough leftover to have as a pudding. Looking forward to changing up the extracts and adding a few different things. Was so happy I was able to find a purple sweet potato here with white flesh. Thanks so much for posting this..
Tami Kramer
This is our grandchildren’s favorite ice cream! I am so glad you like it.

I generally run from recipes labelled “vegan”. This was fabulous. Thank you.

Good food is good food – ours just happens to be vegan!
