    Hi Tammy,
This looks SO good. I was wondering. Can this be made in a large batch and used in a fondue pot? I was wondering if it’s too delicate and might burn in a fondue pot. I’m thinking of giving it a try.

      Hi Julie,

I don’t know how this would do in a fondue pot – you’ll have to try it and let me know!

      Happy healthy cooking,

      Tami

Thank you for the recipe! Does leftover syrup need to be stored in the fridge?

I just store it at room temperature as it will get really firm in the fridge.

Hi Tami, This recipe looks excellent. Where do you purchase the vanilla powder from? Also, do you have a recipe for vanilla nice cream? Thank you for all you and Tom do. Your recipes and videos are the best.

      Hi Joann,

I had been buying vanilla powder on Amazon but the brands I liked were getting difficult to find the past couple of years. Most recently I have been buying it from Local Spicery since they found a reliable supplier. They get it from another company called Lafaza. They choose supple chains that protect the environment, follow fair trade practices so the village farmers are making a fare income, and they secure the highest quality vanilla beans. There are no fillers or stabilizers in the ground vanilla beans. It is a jar of pure, ground, high quality beans. You will be amazed at the aroma when you open up the jar. I do have an affiliate link to Local Spicery https://www.localspicery.com/nutmegnotebook/ Happy healthy cooking! Tami

      Hi Joan,

Lately I have been buying my vanilla bean powder from Local Spicery – I am an affiliate with them. They purchase the vanilla bean powder from a company called Lafaza. They get fare trade beans from Madagascar and put money back into the country working directly with the village farmers. They follow fair trade practices that support the local village farmers. They are the highest quality of vanilla beans and you will be amazed at the aroma when you open the jar. Here is my link:https://www.localspicery.com/nutmegnotebook/ Thank you so much for kind and thoughtful comments. It makes me so happy to know you like my recipes and the work Tom and I do. Happy Healthy Cooking!
